Magdaline shimmered into the living room of the Halliwell Estate. She had scanned it first so she knew that the only person there was Scott Halliwell. He was the one she was looking for. She had on a power protection amulet that she had came across almost two hundred years ago. Probably one of the only reasons she was still alive today. Though it did not protect against weapons, magic was never really any use against her. She was harmless though, as harmless as a demon could be. Generally she always comes to those who will benefit her. Even if it meant seeking out that of good magic. She needed to tell Scott of his future, for it was ever so clear. Though she was sure that he would not listen to her. She did not blame him for this, being as she was a demon and he was a good witch. Though at least her words would haunt him for as long as it takes for him to realize that she is telling him the truth.
Magdaline looked around the living room. Waiting for the boy to find her. She never went further then she had to and this is as far as she could go. She knew this was a place with an easy escape should she need it. She had a feeling it would be a little bit before she had to escape. She picked up pictures that lined the mantle. They were a disturbingly cute family, made her sick to her stomach actually. Just the world family alone was enough to make her blood boil. She hated the very meaning of family. His was no different. Plus they were of Charmed decent, which made them of the worst. Seeming to be a family that always sticks together, though she has noticed this one as not as close as all the rest. Cousins scattered, it was quite sad.
Such a dreadful family.

Scott sat up in his room looking over his schoolbooks. Schoolbooks, the most boring kinds of books there were. Why the hell couldn't the school have them read anything normal and exciting for once? Scott read line after line. he read it, but he didn't really take it in. His thoughts traveled to other places as his eyes skimmed the pages of the seemingly endless book. With a small wave of his finger, the page turned by itself. Minor personal gain violation, but sometimes it could be an acception. Scott reached over to his bedside table and grabbed a slice of pizza off of the plate. A little snack always stimulated the senses. As Scott took a bite he heard movement downstairs. What the hell was that? he thought, completely alert. - Scott walked cautiously down the upstairs hallway and approached the stairs slowly. he wore dark blue jeans and a black long sleeve shirt. He jogged down the stairs until the source of the noise came into view. A demon? Scott looked down closer and his thoughts were confirmed. Scott waved his right arm to use his telekinesis to throw the demon across the room. Nothing happened. Scott tried again. Nothing happened. Was there something wrong withhis powers? Why wasn't this working. "Who are you?" Scott asked as he looked down at the demon. Scott orbed from the stairs and back into the upstairs hallway. He then orbed back to the stairs. It was just a test to see if there really was something wrong with his powers. Scott looked down at the demon, waiting for an answer, or an energy ball. He was ready to orb out if he needed to. Magdaline looked around the living room a little more. It was bright and cheery in the room she was in. Almost enough to make her forget all about why she was here and want to leave but she was on a mission. Why she was helping out the other side was still beyond her but she knew it was what she had to do. She had to let them know what was going to happen, for not only would it destroy good magic but it would destroy that of evil magic too and this boy was the only one who could help stop it. She knew that should the evil realm find out about her doing this they would try and kill her, so she would have to stay in secret for a while, at least until she is sure that it was safe for her to show her face again.
She turned when she heard the boy coming down the stairs and smiled. He tried to throw her across the room, the look on his face when he could not was priceless but she did not smile. She showed no emotion at all towards him. He then mumbled some words along the lines of who was she before he orbed out. Which she found highly rude being as she did not even get the chance to respond to his question. It was not until shortly after that he appeared in front of her. He was a whitelighter, how dreadful, even worse then a witch, they tended to be more pure and more on the good side of magic. Hopefully he would know what was best for him and not try to fight her.
I am Madgaline, and I bring you news of a great disaster my child. One I fear could possibly kill us all. One that you can stop.

Scott looked down at the demon, for now it didn't look like she would attack... for now. Scott was still alert and ready if she were to attack. Apparently his powers didn't work on her so he would have to orb out or find a weapon of some sort. As Scott stepped off of the stairs he moved no further than the bottom of the stairs. He didn't want to go too close. He waited for her to speak, his mind thinking up crazy things. Whenever a demon wasn't attacking and just wanted to talk, it was always important. He looked at her distrustingly as she spoke. Magdaline. It rang a bell, he probably read about her somehere in the Book of Shadows. He listened intently as she spoke and he hid his confused feelings.
A great disaster coming? so what was new. Only he could stop it. Him? Besides being a Halliwell and being half whitelighter half witch he was a perfectly normal witch. He never thought there was anything special about him, but assuming the demon wasn't lying, he'd bite, if there was something unusual about him, why deny it? "Why me?" he asked. He was being vague on saying anything for a reason, he didn't trust demons, even if they weren't attacking. Scott still stood at the bottom of the staircase, waiting for an answer. He was definitely having doubts about whether this demon was telling the truth or not, but he would listen, he really had no choice since his powers were practically useless.

Magdaline smiled at the boy this time. He seemed to be a little bit willing to listen to what she had to say. He may not think much of it because well they never do, but most never take the time to listen, so already they were a step in the right direction. Though he was still keeping his distance. What did she expect though. She was a demon after all, and if he had any kind of smarts about him, he knew who she was by his name. After all she knew him by his name. Though she had been watching the charmed decendants for many years now. She knew it was just a matter of time before they were given their powers back. This boy was handling his powers much better then some of them were. Which was another reason he was one of the chosen ones.
"Why me?"
That is a good question my dear. Why you indeed? What makes you so special that you get this path set before you? You must be of something special, they need you for some reason.
What was it indeed she wondered. Why was he given this power that had died many years ago. In fact he was not given it yet. He still had to read the spell. One that would have to be a little rewriten in order for things to work out the proper way.
And by them my dear, I mean humanity.

Scott still had the word "Distrust" painted all over his face as he watched the demon closely. He wondered if he could freeze her. But he only thought that for a moment since his active whitelighter power (Telekinesis) didn't work on her, niether would his witch power. His eyes traveled across the demon's body, looking for some article of clothing or even jewelry that could be protecting her from his powers. His eyes quickly traveled over her amulet. that must be it. He wasn't planning on attacking her, but he was taking precautions. She didn't look like she wanted a fight at the moment but he was still wary. He listened as she spoke again.
"That is a good question my dear. Why you indeed? What makes you so special that you get this path set before you? You must be of something special, they need you for some reason.
Something special. What friggin path? Why did everything have to be so vague all the time. And who needed him. All these questions buzzed through his head although his expression remained emotionless. She could be lying so he didn't get himself excited. But the thought of something being special about him was appealing. He listened as she described who she meant by "them". Humanity. Just humanity? Obviously there was something in it for demons because if there wasn't, Magdaline wouldn't be here explaining things to him, she'd be trying to kill him. 'Any idea what exact path is set out for me, or is it something I have to figure out?" he asked, still not completely believing her. [/blockquote]

Magdaline was enjoying the fact that he asked questions. That meant that he was putting a little bit of thought into what she was saying to him, which is good. If ever there was a time that people would listen to her, this would be the time. Sure it was only because she wanted to survive what was going to happen. But her surviving would be because he survived, so it would be a win lose situation. Well win win to some cause they both live but he would still be alive, and as much as that truly sucked it was something that she was going to have to accept about this situation. Who knows maybe her vision was a little off and he would die after all. Which would be quite a wonderful treat if she said so herself.
''Any idea what exact path is set out for me, or is it something I have to figure out?"
That I don't know.
So she did not know the entire story. Only what she saw in her vision. A vision that showed her that the charmed magic was meant to be brought back to life to save them all. He was one of the chosen. She wondered if he knew anything about the charmed power. He had to have known, someone must have told him. Unless they all let it go many years ago. Which seemed very unlikely.
Have you ever heard of the Charmed Ones? You do know of that power don't you. Three very powerful doers of good magic?

Scott still didn't like this demon very much. From what he remember of what he read in the Book of Shadows, she was old, really old and also really evil. Old and evil, not a very attractive combo right there. Scott's mind sometimes wandered to insignificant things like this. He focused more on the demon and her expressions. It looked like she enjoyed him asking questions. Like she enjoyed being listened to. That was a little bit wierd. Scott frowned at what she said. so she didn't know. Well how the hell was he supposed to figure stuff out if no one knew. Why did everything have to be so complicated? Scott was still curious although still cynical about the whole thing. He wished his powers would work on this demon. as much as he wanted to hear what she had to say, he also wanted to vanquish her. She gave him the creeps.
Scott's attention was quickly grasped once more as Magdaline mentioned the charmed ones. The power of three. She asked if he knew what it was. Of course he knew what it was! He had free access of the book of shadows so even if his grandma hadn't told him what the charmed magic was he would've figured it out at one point anyways. He debated on whether to tell Magdaline how much he knew. Surely she knew his heritage so he decided to tell the truth."Yeah. Piper, my grandma, was a charmed one," he said, deciding to trust the demon with this information. The charmed ones were well-known in the underworld so he was sure lying would do no good. Magdaline hated that he was still untrusting of her. She knew it was going to happen yet, but she had not attacked him and she had talked to him in a calm none threatening voice. Yet he still looked at her like he would rather kill her then hear what she had to say. Which was really making her not want to tell him about his future. Maybe she shouldn't. Sure telling him would save both good magic and evil magic, but there would be nothing to stop him from killing her should he become as powerful as she imagined he was. She had to tell him, but she wanted him to listen to her and she knew he was not. So she turned away from him and stepped in the other direction. Turning back when he spoke of Piper.
"Yeah. Piper, my grandma, was a charmed one,"
She turned back to him once again. This was a step in the right direction. He was talking to her, and he was leading them more to where she wanted to be. How did she tell him that he was a future charmed one? She didn't want to, she wanted to kill him. Stop there from even being a charmed three again, but she could not, she knew that magic depended on it, and she loved magic. She needed the good magic as well. Without good magic, there would be no evil magic and then there would be no point to being evil, cause everyone would be evil. She needed his kind to make life interesting.
Good, you know of them, so you must know that they were the most powerful witches around. Just as powerful as you will soon be.

Scott watched the demon turn around to leave before he mentioned Piper being a Charmed one. She had been very powerful.... her and his two second aunts. She could be a little short tempered but he was sad when she died. Scott was a little more trusting of the demon, but he didn't move closer. He was still wondering fiercely why she was talking about the power of three. It had died out, been looked away, no access to it. He didn't even think Aunt Paige or Aunt Phoebe could access it now. He was excited to hear what the demon had to say although still not completely sure he would believe it. He got a little antsy just standing there but before he could sit down on a stair or something, the demon spoke.
Scott nodded at what she said but then looked confused towards the end. Yes he knew the charmed ones were the most powerful witches around, but as powerful as you will soon be.... as powerful as you will soon be. He replayed the sentence over and over in his mind. What was she trying to say. "What are you saying, the charmed power will come back?" he asked. That was confusing. As powerful as you will soon be,. ... What? I'm going to be a Charmed One?? How do I know you aren't lying?" he asked. This was exciting if true, but he still didn't completely buy the words of a demon.

Magdaline smiled when she noticed the boy was more interested now then he was a short while ago. Mentioning things like power and people pay attention to you. Though he still had this look of distrust in his eyes. Which she had to get over, and repeat to herself that she knew this. It was not often she went to the side of good magic to help out. She was still trying to figure out how helping this person of good magic out. She is a demon, shouldn't she want to die rather then help them on there way. No, she cared less about sides, though the side of evil was the more intriguing side, but she just loved power and in order for power to stay strong, there has to be an equal amount of it on both sides, keeping the balance is the way to go.
"What are you saying, the charmed power will come back?"
No my child, I am saying it is back, just waiting to come alive again.
She sat down on the couch of the boy. Making herself comfortable. She had a feeling she was going to be here for a while, at least until this boy fully understood or at least believed her. It kind of depended on him. She had to make him understand which she knew was going to be hard.
What? I'm going to be a Charmed One?? How do I know you aren't lying?
I don't blame you for not trusting me, being a bloody demon and all. But I think it would be in your best interest to take what I say into a little bit of consideration.

Scott wanted this to be true, since it would be awesome and would definitely give him the upper hand in demon fighting. But as much as he wanted it to be true, you could never trust as demon. He listened as she said it was back. But how? He had thought Piper had locked it away or something along those lines. It was very intriguing, him and his cousins had even sometimes played "The Power of Three" games when they were little. One would be the demon and the other three would be the charmed ones. It was a fun game. Ugh he was getting sidetracked again. Scott watched her sit down on the couch as he himself sat down on the bottom steps of the stairs. The distrusting look in his eyes was still there, but now not as heavy.
He listened as she spoke again. This time he didn't get sidetracked. He considered what she said and decided he ould trust her a little. Giving her the benefit of the doubt. But first she had to anser a few questions bfore he fully believed her. "Who are the other two? And why did you come to me and not them?" he asked curiously. He wondered if she really had an answer to this. If she wanted him to buy all this, she'd better have an answer for at leadt one of those two questions. His curiousity was strong, next he would ask why she would want the charmed ones back. Last time he checked, they kicked demon ass... why the hell would she want that? [/blockquote]

Magdaline knew he was ready to believe her. He would not be asking so many questions if he did not believe her. He would have brushed her off like most of them do and she would be on her way. Which would have sucked being as this is the first time in a long time she needed someone to truly hear what she had to say for the sake of magic in itself. She looked up at the boy from the couch and gave him a faint smile, one that said you could trust her for she would not be here if you couldn't.
"Who are the other two? And why did you come to me and not them?"
The other two I am not sure of really.
She answered honestly. She had only seen Scott in her vision not the others. Though she knew that they were strong witches. One also part whitelighter if memory serves her right. Though she could not say for sure. She did not even know if they were male or female, but once again if memory serves her right, she believes that the charmed power stays within gender. Three Women, or three men, but things change, they always do.
As for why I can to you, well you are the one who is going to bring the power back to life. You were the one in my vision.

Scott was a bit anxious to know who the other two were. He hoped they were someone he liked. He could probably narrow it down. yea, he could definitely do that. He would find similarities of the other Charmed ones and apply them to his family members since he was almost positive the Charmed ones were always related in some way. He thought hard but didn't strain himself. He would figure it out later. What if it was one of the relatives he despised? Oh that would suck so hard. He looked a little disappointed when she replied that she didn't know who the other two were. it woul've saved him some research. She'd convince him for now, but he wasn't completely gullible. Scott stopped racking his brains. He had too many family members to try and figure out who the other two Charmed ones were without a pen and paper.
He raised a brown slightly as she said that he was th one to bring back the power. Could he do that? He had seen the spell to bring back the power of three many times and probably even tried to recite it. So the demon was a seer. Figured. They seemed to be one of the few demons whho had enough self control not to kill a witch if they wanted information. "And how would this benefit demons?" Scott asked. He wanted to know the loophole. There had to be some benefit to demons or else Magdaline wouldn't be here. He really hoped no one come home right now or else Magdaline would have to shimmer out without Scott knowing a thing more. He wanted information. [/blockquote]

Magdaline stood up and paced back and forth across the floor of the living room. Searching through her brain for pieces of the vision she could be missing, as well as to ever charmed reference she had ever read and or heard. She knew right away that they other two were male. It was gender based as sexist as that was. She smiled at that, sort of her own little joke. She looked over at Scott and frowned. How bloody dreadful. The fate of magic resting in the hand of teenage boys. What could possibly be any worse then that. Dying maybe, but still teenage boys with power was much worse.
"And how would this benefit demons?"
Just as your kind will benefit, we all get to live.
She walked back over to the other side of the room. Wondering if she should make this easier on him and tell him the little information she knows. It would help speed things along but time did not seem to be an issue at this moment. Just the knowledge of it. However time may not have been shown as a threat in her vision she knew that things were left out of it and it very well could be.
Three males, Two Whitelighters and a Witch. Form the powers that will put magic back in its rightful place.
With that Magdaline smiled at the boy and shimmered out.
