Scott sat up in his room looking over the list of people he had named. All of them were male family members. He had two names circled on the list. Skylar Bennett and Shane Samuels. Scott was positive they were the other two to the power of three. There were many similarities. Their names all started with the letter "S". They were all boys. Their ages were close together, and they were all already powerful. Besides, Magdaline had said one of them as half whitelighter, Skylar was half whitelighter. He had invited his two cousins to the Halliwell Manor today, hoping to try out the power of three spell. They had no idea why he had invited him over but they would soon find out. Hopefully Scott wouldn'tt have to convince them about anything. He would just have to recite the spell and they would all get the power and then they would believe him. They were all chosen, it felt good, it felt like you had an important purpose.
--
Scott reached over the side of his bed and pulled out a huge book. The Book of Shadows. He traced his finger along the Power of Three emblem before opening the huge book. He skimmed through the pages and after awhile, came to the page he wanted. The Invoking The Powers Spell. Scott muttered the words under his breath since apparently, he was the one who got to read it. He kept the book open as he layed it aside, waiting for the doorbell to ring. His parents were at work. He hadn't even told his parents about any of this yet. He was excited, today he would see if Magdaline was lying or not. He was also happy that the ther two chosenones were two cousins that he actually liked and got along with. [/blockquote]

A boy walked up the sidewalk from slamming the Sports Car door shut, sighing, he made his way up to the door. Ringing the doorbell, rather than waiting though, he decided to just orb in. "Hello?" came his voice, ringing through the house of his grandparents. Letting out another sigh, he walked upstairs, looking in all of the rooms. He finally found Scott in one, the Book of Shadows laying out beside him. "yes?" his voice came again. "I know better than to just knock." he said jokingly. He walked into the room, letting the full color of his Black Aeropostale T-Shirt shine in the sunlight, coming from the window. He kicked off his shoes and pushed his hand down, orbing them to the door. "Gosh, that power comes in handy. Even if it is personal gain. A little won't hurt every once in a while." he explained. He looked at the book. "What are you doing with it?" he asked referring to the book as 'it'. Looking around the room once more. "Oh, have you heard of any demons around lately? I haven't seen any at all..." he said in an un-earthly voice.
He sat himself down on the bed, taking in his surroundings incase any sudden demon attacks decided to happen. So then, he would know what rooms were where, and what he could use to his advantage for the lighting. Thoughts piling up in his head. Why did he ask us here? Why does he have the book out? Why haven't there been any Demon attacks lately? all these questions came at him like a barrage of bullets, pelting him in the stomach. He shook them off, as he returned to reality. "Okay, when is Shane getting here?" he asked suddenly, as the thought came out of nowhere.

Shane headed towards Scott's house. He would have drove but he was up for the walk and it was not that far away so he did not see it being any problem at all. He enjoyed going for walks anyways. They were always the best for clearing his head. Though his head was not that clear today. He kept thinking about how horribly the spell to summon Tabitha had been. He swore he could do it up and down but nothing. Just a big fat disappointment. Maybe he was just not ever supposed to see his little sister again. Or maybe he was just plain not powerful enough. Though he felt pretty darn powerful. Maybe it was just because it was still so new to him.
He walked up the stairs to Scott's and walked right in. Scott and him were pretty close and he spent a lot of time here, so he knew he was someone who could just walk in and make himself at home whenever. Which is what he did actually. He went into the kitchen, grabbed a piece of leftover pizza from the fridge and a soda and headed up to Scott's room. He was told Skylar would be here which was cool. Him and Skylar got along awesome as well. After entering the room he shut the door and sat down in front of it. Looking up at his cousins, as well as the book of shadows that was lying on the bed.
Are we demon hunting?
He would not mind a good demon hunt right about now. In fact he would welcome it. He needed to do something to get his head off of his sister. Even if this wasn't about demons though, just being around other people was going to make this day a little bit better then it had been.

Scott looked at the book for a little while longer before he heard someone open his door. It was Skylar. "Dammit Skylar, sneak up on me like that again and I'll freeze you solid," he warned, smiling. He had not heard Skylar yell up the staircase, he had been too engrossed in the book. "Yea right," Scott said in reply to Skylar's shunning of the persnal gain rule. Scott had broken that rule many time himself... but whatever. Scott debated on whether or not to tell Skylar what he was doing with the book. It would be best if he waited until Shane came until he told him. So Scott left Skylar's question unanswered. Both of them needed to hear what Scott had to say at the same time, and together. "No, I haven't been hunting lately since Mrs. Ethridge gave us five reports. I hat her," Scottmuttered as he waited still for Shane. He looked back in Skylar's direction as he asked when Shane was coming. Scott had been asking himself the same question. "How the hell am I s'pposed to know?" Scott answered.
As if in reply, Shane came into the room, armed with a slice of pizza and a soda. Scott smiled a little now that he was here. Sweet. This was so exciting. He heard Shane ask if they would be demon fighting. "No," Scott said in reply as he leaned backwards. Scott grabbed the Book of Shadows from behind him before sitting back up straight. He reached out an arm and pulled Shane down on the bed so that they were all sitting next to each other on the bed. "Three days ago, a demon came to me. She said that the charmed power was back and that I was one of the future charmed ones. She also said that the fate of magic depends on me. I narrowed down all of our family members down to see who the other two future charmed ones were. That would be you two. So, if the demon was lying, then we kill her, but we'll find out if this spell works. I'm supposed to read it," he explained. The charmed ones were extremely powerful so he was sure Skylar and Shane were just as anxious. [/blockquote]

Hearing his comment. "Well, excuse me." he said in a joking voice. Then, watching as Scott appeared in the doorway with a slice of pizza and a soda. Putting his hand to his forehead, he started shaking it. Putting a disappointed look on his face. "Now, why did you want us here?" he asked suddenly, before changing the whole conversation.
I'm supposed to read it,"
"Whoa, slow down there would you? Okay, so a demon came to you. She told you that you were a future Charmed One. You narrowed down the family members and it came to us?" he asked him. "That isn't something you hear everyday. And then you have to read the spell." he said shortly after. "Well, I'm all for it! And if the demon lied, then we vanquish her sorry ass." he said, sort of anxious to kill a demon. "But, what if she wasn't lying. And we're destined to be the Charmed Ones? I mean, you two are still in school. And, we will be saving innocence all over the world. And having to deal with Demons. And the magical creatures." he said, naming every possible downside of the powers. "But, we would be the most powerful witches known to man!" he exclaimed, mostly to himself. "I'm all for it." he said to Scott, turning his head to Shane.

Shane relaxed once he hit the bed. He had felt like he hadn't really sat down at all today. It felt good to finally be able to get comfortable. He took a bite of his pizza. It was really good. Pizza was always best cold the next day. Why this was no one on earth will really know. He just knew that it was a fact. A fact that no one could deny. Anyone who tried to say pizza was not good cold, was either a liar or just don't want to admin they like things just the way everyone does. He pulled his mind from pizza and back to the other two boys. He had a short attention span, but brought his attention back to them at what seemed to be the most proper of times.
I'm supposed to read it,"
Shane did not really answer. He wanted to know everyone elses opinions before he threw out that of his own. Though he kind of liked the idea. He had been reading the book a lot lately and his Great Aunt Phoebe had told him so many times all about the power of three. The infamous charmed ones who were feared throughout the underworld. Though they were also on the hit list of everyone in the underworld. They had made it for so long thought, so he had no worries on whether or not they could do it.
"I'm all for it."
That was all he really needed to hear. If they were for it, he was willing to give it a shot. How could being a charmed on be bad? And if it didn't work, well then they were no different off then they were right now. However they would get to go kill this demon, which could be fun. He had only killed one demon so far and he wouldn't mind doing it again. Banishing the world of evil.
I am down, sound like a blast.

Scott waited impatiently for an answer from both of them. Thoughts buzzed through his mind. Great Aunt Phoebe, Great Aunt Paige, Grandma (Piper), and even Great Aunt Prue (Scott summoned her at one point), had told Scott of the power of three's greatness. Their power. He had also been warned of the risks and the sacrifices, as well as the victories. It was an exciting prospect, he was totally willing, and aware. He probably knew more about the subject than either of his cousins sitting right beside him. Scott realized that the door was open. He waved his hand slightly and the door shut and locked.
"Whoa, slow down there would you? Okay, so a demon came to you. She told you that you were a future Charmed One. You narrowed down the family members and it came to us? That isn't something you hear everyday. And then you have to read the spell. Well, I'm all for it! And if the demon lied, then we vanquish her sorry ass. But, what if she wasn't lying. And we're destined to be the Charmed Ones? I mean, you two are still in school. And, we will be saving innocents all over the world. And having to deal with Demons. And the magical creatures. But, we would be the most powerful witches known to man!"
Scott laughed. "Having a debate with yourself? Has anyone ever told you that you talk too much?" he teased jokingly as he looked over at Shane. The book still lie open on his lap. So Skylar was in, he was in, if Shane was in, the power of three was back! That was, if, Skylar wanted to. It really didn't matter if he wanted to or not, it was destiny, and either way, it would happen. Scott started to picture himself in eight years. Tons of demon fighting.... it would almost surely alter his personality. Maybe he'd die, he wouldn't live for a whole eight years. These thoughts were daunting, but he was known to think things through..... and he as brave. He wasn't just jumping into this eyes closed, he knew what he was doing. And he was more than willing.
Scott smiled widely as Shane said that he was in. Scott's heart skipped a beat. Shane was sitting on his left, Skylar was sitting on his right. They were in order of youngest to oldest. Scott reached out both of his hands and grabbed Skylar's left hand in his right hand and Shane's right hand in his left hand. "I want to get this right," he commented as he looked down at the book. He took in a deep breathe, knowing that if this worked, all of their lives would be changed forever. Whether it be good or bad.
"Hear now the words of the witches The Secrets we hid in the night The oldest of gods are invoked here The great work of magic is sought In this night and in this hour, I call upon the ancient power Bring the power to we cousins three We want the power Give us the power" Scott spoke. He looked up from the book and felt a harsh wind. The spell was working. [/blockquote]

Grinning at Scott for his last comment. "Plenty of people." he said with a small grin, closing his eyes and shutting his eyes. Listening as Shane agreed with it. Secretly, his heart sang. He heard the words ringing in his ears, then a harsh wind rising. He opened his eyes, watching as the little twinkle of lights burst from the Triquetra on the cover of the book. It seemed as if it were running around in the air, before finally resting inside of him. Feeling an utterly weird sensation in his stomach. "This was no where near what I expected." he said, looking at the other lights, dancing around the room. "But it's so cool!" he exclaimed. Knowing that he was the oldest, it was his job to protect the other two. He sat in his place, waiting for the others though. For starters it would be rude, and two, the spell would probably stop working.
Glancing around the room, everything seemed the same so far. However, he still had to wait for Shane and Scott. Running over a list in his ehad of things he would have to do. Save innocence, Vanquish Demons, Protect Scott and Shane with my life, Mean the spells, Word them correctly, Thank Great Aunt Phoebe and Paige he told himself, his list could probably go on for hours if he wanted it to. The wind rising and lowering in rhythm. He sighed. Waiting is boring. he said impatiently.

Shane closed his eyes and waited for Scott to read the spell. He had heard of everything is grandmother and his great aunts had gone through as the charmed ones. They had kind of lost hold of there normal everyday lives. Which was a part that did not worry Shane so much, being as that right now he did not have much of a life outside off magic and being by himself. Maybe this would give a reverse effect. Maybe bring some normalness back into his life. He doubted it though. He was set one being Charmed. Being powerful and using those powers to help the innocent people in the world, who could not help themselves. He would make up for not saving Tabitha. He would do this by living a life that she would be proud of him four. Even though she was only eight, he knew that if she was still around, she would be very excited about all of this. All which has yet to happen, being as he was still waiting for Scott to read the spell. He was getting anxious and was ready to see if it worked. He was about to tell Scott to just do it already, right as he began saying the spell.
"Hear now the words of the witches The Secrets we hid in the night The oldest of gods are invoked here The great work of magic is sought In this night and in this hour, I call upon the ancient power Bring the power to we cousins three We want the power Give us the power"
Shane took a deep breath as he heard the final words of the spell. He had known it was the end of the spell because in his mind he had read it over and over again while looking through the book. He had never said it out loud though, for fear kind of about what could possibly happen, if he was not the one supposed to read the spell. And here come to find out he was not. Scott was the one who was supposed to read the spell. Why that is no one will probably ever know but Shane was not going to question any of it. He was just going to let the magic take its course. If this spell made him Charmed then that is what he was destined to be, and who was he to deny his destiny?
Shane opened his eyes to see that they were surrounded by white lights. They danced around the room so gloriously. He smiled at the sight of them. Then one of them came straight at him and then disappeared into his, gone in a flash. It was a terrifying moment really. For he was a little bit scared of what was to come. This could be just as much bad as it could be good. Demons were constantly after the Charmed Ones, it was going to be that way now. They were going to be hated by the evil world and that was never a good thing. Though he knew that the world need the Charmed Ones, for in the past, the Charmed One's helped to keep the balance of things. At least that is what his grandmother had always told him.
Does this mean it worked?

Scott looked around him wonderously. His eyes had never been closed so he had seen the lights appear and everything. He felt the book automatically close in his lap and he looked down curiously. What the? He watched as the three oval looking symbols joined together. They were truly charmed. Scott smiled in satisfaction as he looked around the room, at the bright, dancing lights. it was amazing, the most amazing sight Scott had ever seen, even better than the first time he had orbed to the top of the golden gate bridge. The most powerful witches in the world. Felt good to have that title, but he could almost feel the source's anger. Scott grabbed one of the white lights in his hand and opened his hand back up to let it free. The harsh wind died down to a soft breeze and the light began to dim.
He had an excited feeling in his stomach. He felt alive, he felt powerful. He could feel it, deep in his gut, something had changed. Charmed were th only words that passed through his thoughts. They were charmed. Everyone had thought that the power of three was unattainable, but Piper had only locked it away until it was ready to be used. It was their destiny. From now on they weren't just Scott, Skylar, and Shane. They were the power of three, the charmed ones. Demons would tremble in their boots when they heard their names. Awesome. Scott sometimes thought a little bit dramatically. But his thoughts were true. He felt the power rush through him and smiled. Then the lights disappeared altogether and so did the wind.
Scott dropped his two cousins hands and stood up. "I wonder if our powers got stronger too," Scott thought out loud. He waved an arm and a pillow from a cross the room shot through the air and hit a wall. His telekinesis had advanced. Objects went faster than they did before. He then turned to face his bedside lamp. He held his hands out and a huge cloud of ice shot from his fingertips at the lamp. Once the ice particles cleared up, the lamp was frozen, but the ice that was coating it was thicker than it had been before. He turned back to his cousins and smiled. "I guess so," he said happily as he blew in the direction of the frozen lamp. The ice coating it disappeared. [/blockquote]

Feeling the wind die down, and the lights dim. He also felt Scott drop his hand, stnading up, he watched as Scott tested out his powers. "Haha lucky you, I didn't get a Whitelighter Power, Just the standards." he said to him, watching as he froze the lamp. He sighed, looking around the room. He stared at the ground, making bugs and snakes appear, and start moving around. He knew Scott didn't like things like that. He sat there, focusing on that one spot where they kept appearing. Stopping, he looked up to Scott. "My illusions definitely last longer." he explained. Looking towards Shane. "Does your fire last any longer? More powerful? But whatever you do, let one of us orb you outside to test your speed." he said in a warning voice. That could definitely end up bad.
He let out a sigh, looking at the joined Triquetra on the book. "Truly Charmed." he remembered the words from his Great Aunt Piper's lips. How she said them. They began ringing in his ears, ignoring them completely. Looking to Scott. "Wait until the demons find out. They'll flip once they here." he said in a satisfied voice. "Now, only if I could control an element." he said to his cousins, thinking about what he would be able to control if anything. Running through the powers his different cousins had. Now, if only they had something to actually show they were Charmed. Like, a Triquetra necklace! Now, only if his Illusiond could become real. He could have one, and two more, one for Shane, the other for Scott. Now lost in deep thought, he shook his head, bringing himself back to reality.

Shane was a little nervous to test his powers. If his fire power increased what if he catches something on fire. At least Scott had a freezing power, should something go a flame he could freeze it. He lifted his hand up in front of his face and imagined it being on fire. When all of a sudden fire appeared. It engulfed his whole hand in a hot flame. He could feel the heat radiating off of it, though his hand was cold. As if it was shielding itself from burning. It was nice, the feeling of the cold under the intense heat. He looked at the rest of them. So it felt hotter, that was it. Didn't mean it was more powerful. Though he still had his speed to test. He smiled at Skylar when he mentioned going outside for the speed test.
"Does your fire last any longer? More powerful? But whatever you do, let one of us orb you outside to test your speed."
Shane laughed looking up at Skylar. He then looked to Scott and smiled. He felt incredible. Almost like he was a better person inside and out. Like he was more whole then he had ever been in his entire world. He knew right there that this was his destiny. He was meant to be a Charmed One after all. He no longer had any doubts. Sad though, he was looking forward to killing this demon. However she knew things, she might come in handy.
"Truly Charmed."
Charmed
He whispered to himself.

Scott was exciting. His heart was thumping rapidly. This new surge of energy and power. He loved how his powers were also stronger, it felt great, it kind of gave him a confidence boost. He looked over at Skylar to see that he was making snakes and bugs illusions. That didn't creep him out. Spiders, needles and sharks. If Skylar EVER made one of those illusions then Scott would flip him upside down with his telekinesis and freeze him in an ice cibe onto the cieling so he couldn't orb out. He had threatened to do that a few times to Skylar if he ever tried anything. Skylar hadn't tried anything on Scott so far. Scott smiled a little bit at this. He was excited to test out a power of three spell. He was pretty good at rhyming so it shouldn't be too hard to make one up. Scott listened to what Skylar said. "Yea, but you can heal, and I can''t yet," he replied. He now looked over at Skylar and saw him test out his flame. Maybe Scott was imagining it, but it felt hotter than before.
So Scott's telekinesis was faster, his ice was thicker, Skylar's illusions were longer, Shane's fire was hotter, and his speed was still to be tested. Scott looked over at Skylar and grinned at his suggestion. Scott then walked over to Shane and smiled. Scott grabbed Shane's arm and thy disintegrated into a bunch of blue mist/lights. A second later the blue mist settled by the sidewalk at the front of the house and Scott and Skylar reappeared. "You ready?" Scott asked, waaiting for Skylar to orb down. Scott highly doubted that Skylar would walk down. Scott looked around for any passerby and saw none, it was late at night and there was no one in sight. The coast was clear. [/blockquote]

Letting out a sigh. "He is so diffficult." he said, orbing down to the sidewalk where Scott had orbed a few moments later. "Healing has nothing to do with it, Healing is standard, You actually got a power. And a good one at that." he said, before taking in a breath. "But then imagine, when I am able to bring my illusions into reality. I could practically control every element." he explained to him. "I could be like your ammo. And you the gun." he explained, not sure if he would understand. "However, I did notice I got here faster, and, judging by Grandma Paige, I think you'd be able to call something's name, and it orb to you. Orbing Telekinesis she called it. " he explained to him. Plopping down on the sidewalk. He imagined a large ring of candles around him, the illusion coming out. He tried to see if he could sense any near by witches. " I can't find anybody but you two." he said, a bit of concern in his voice. He shook this off quickly, waiting for Shane to try out his speed. " Hopefully, he won't slam into a pole or anything. That would be bad, although I could heal him, it would probably take hours by just me alone." he explained. Making the candles go away. " Actually, I bet I could bring up a pole. Just to mess with him. That would be hilarious." he said in a hushed tone to Scott, hoping he hadn't heard it. Though, decided against it, as he would probably be hurt in the process of trying to stop. Looking around the neighborhood. " When are the demons going to attack? I thought they would have been all over us by now. I mean, Grandma Paige, Great Aunt Piper and Great Aunt Phoebe battled them everyday. Not to mention Great Aunt Piper's boyfriend was a Warlock." he said in an anxious voice. Looking at the house across the street. " I swear something just doesn't seem right. Where are all of them? That one that came to you was probably a Seer. How else would she know all about it before it happened? Or she could have Clairvoyance." he said, mostly to himself, rather than to Scott or Shane.

Shane did not have much time to react before he found himself outside. He wished he had some sort of power that would allow for him to orb or teleport from one place to another. Though his speed was a big help. He was never late that was for sure. Though if it truly was faster, imagine all the places he could go and still be home by dinner time. He laughed at this, then stopped quickly when he realized it was only a thought and no one else would no what the hell was going on. Though that was Shane for you. Sometimes he just burst out into random fits of laughter. So he didn't worry about it to much. He waited however to go for Skylar to arrive and when he did, Shane smiled at both of them.
"Hopefully, he won't slam into a pole or anything. That would be bad, although I could heal him, it would probably take hours by just me alone."
Shane heard this and smiled. It would be pretty Shane of him to hit a pole. Though he knew that they would be able to heal him, well at least Skylar, being as Scott had yet to heal anyone. There was always a first time for everthing however. He just hoped that today would not be that day. He really was not in the mood for being in a lot of pain. Not from running into a pole or anything at least. Now if he was in pain for kicking some major ass in a demon fight, well then that would be a whole other situation. That one he could make an exception for.
Pulling his thought back to his speed, Shane look far ahead, as far down the street as he could and he was off. The world around him was moving so much faster then it had before, yet he could see everything clearer then before. As if the world came to a halt when he moved, not just him speeding up. Could it be possible? Maybe he was just looking way to much into it. He stopped and realized how easy it was. He had to have gone at least a mile. He then turned and headed back.
...Just to mess with him. That would be hilarious."
What would be hilarious?
He asked turning to Skylar. He had not caught the other half of the conversation being as he was not here. Whatever the case he was in a great mood. He could not believe how amazing this was. He could not wait to see what they could do together.
