Scott stepped out of the door to his room and walked down the hallway. His steps were a little bit faster than usual. It had been a few months since he had had a girlfriend let alone take someone you like somewhere. Thee only problem was that Destiny had no fucking idea that he liked her. And he was almost positive she didn't like him back. Again with the self confidence issues. Scott wore a dark brown long sleeve shirt and lighter brown jacket with dark blue jeans. He wasn't all dressed up fancy, just casually. Instead of going down the stairs he just grabbed the banister and vaulted over it, falling about fourteen feet before hitting the first floor. He used his telekinesis to lessen the impact. His thoughts traveled back to Destiny. He really would like to be more than friends with her, he hadn't once doubted that being charmed would hurt any relationships he could've had. Aunt Piper, Phoebe, and Paige had managed it. He ondered if Destiny tohught of this as a date or just friends. How was he going to tell her he liked her? Damn low self confidence.

He grabbed his car keys off of the kitchen table with his left hand and tossed them into his right hand. Woohoo, he had been walking a lot lately, his car needed more usage. He walked out the front door and used his telekinesis to lock it, his dad had taken the house key. He jogged down the front steps and looked at the sky, it was around dawn. He opened the door of his car absentmindedly. He pushed a button and the top folded down, there was nice weather tonight, why not put the top down? He slid his keys into the ignition and turned, hearing the nice roar of the engine. He put the car in reverse and backed out of the two car driveway. He was off. He kept at the speed limit, sometimes exceeding it by just a little, it was sad that in San Francisco you couldn't exactly enjoy the speed of a sports car.

He stepped out of the pearl gray vehicle once he had parked and looked over at the movie theatre. He would have a ways to walk, but he didn't mind. Destiny had decided to drive herself, so she would meet him there. He walked up the sidewalk of Dowtown San Francisco, wary of very single alley that he passed. As he finally approached the movie theater, he smiled at how short the ticket sales lines were. When it was his turn he got two tickets for I Am Legend. That was the movie they had agreed on seeing. Scott wasn't a big fan of Will Smith, but it seemed to be like one of the only sem-good looking movies out at the moment. [/blockquote]

if we were a movieNow getting ready for a date was one of the longest preparations of a girls life especially when it comes to a date with the guy you really, really crushed on. The sad thing was that Destiny wasn't exactly sure if this was an official date or anything, so she even wondered if maybe all this preparation was truly for nothing. But, it's not like Destiny hated choosing a cute outfit and taking hours to make her hair perfect, it was something she actually loved to do. Yeah, she didn't even speed up time during such a process- that was truly how much he enjoyed it. So for this maybe date with Scott, Destiny had decided on the ever-so-popular dress with jeans style that she could definitely pull off anyday. It wasn't too fancy which she was definitely not looking for. Actually the style was a rather childish looking style, but once again, Destiny could pull it off amazing. Her shirt/dress was a nice silky bright blue covered in small red polka dots. She accompanied it with a long large beaded necklace with matching red slip-in heels which gave her a good few inches. Her jeans were of the skinny style like always put she stretched out the bottoms of them by pulling them to be tightly around her heel. Now her hair may not look like it took that much work to someone that did not know that her hair was naturally curly. Destiny had taken a long time to straighten it down and part it and brush it nicely to work with her small layers. She hoped Scott would find it cute, but even if he didn't, she felt incredibly comfortable in it.
So, Destiny wasn't one to ask Scott for a ride to such a date, instead she had decided to take her own car. She never really liked awkward car rides, so rather than risking that, she had walked into her loveable Beetle convertible, but of course left the top up as to not ruin her hair. Now driving was something to not be her favorite thing to do, so she had easily sped up time and when she stopped she was walking towards the door to the movie theater. She made sure to check her reflection in the glass of the door, checking to make sure her hair still looked good and nothing weird had happened with it pressed up against the head rest of the seat. Perfect- at least she hoped.
Destiny made her way into the theater, taking a quick glance around to see that Scott was standing somewhat near the ticket lines between the short lines for popcorn with what seemed to be two tickets for the movie they had chosen. Destiny was rather interested to see I Am Legend only for the fact that she loved Will Smith in Fresh Prince so she hoped that he would be able to pull off a decent performance in this movie. She was however a little scared for she had heard it had some rather jumpy moments and she didn't want to look like a wimp in front of Scott. "Hey," she greeted him with a smile when she stood only a few inches in front of them. "You actually look somewhat nice with the contrasting browns." Destiny was always one to judge Scott on his outfits because she knew that he didn't focus on them as much as her, it was just her fun little thing to do for the day.

Scott put the tickets in his pocket and walked over to the snack stand. He crossed his arms as he waited in line to get a medium sized popcorn. This theater's popcorn sizes were huge, so the medium was like a large. He wore his usual white and black adidas which he wore everywhere. They were a little beat up, but not too bad. They could withstand anything, they were definitely his favorite type of shoe. As he approached the front of the line he looked up at the clock and saw that the movie started ten minutes from now. Wow, what a first, he was early. Scott was usually a little bit late to most things, even though he could orb. Maybe Destiny had forgotten.... maybe she was out with someone else... a boyrfriend? Ooh. That would totally suck ass.
"I'll take a medium popcorn," he said, reaching in his back pocket. He pulled out a dark bron leather wallet. He liked the color bron, although blue was his favorite. Fishing out five bucks, he layed them on the counter. Damn popcorn was expensive these days. After he got the popcorn he went over to a bench and sat down. He set the popcorn down beside him and pulled out his cellphone. A black, Motorola Q. He loved this phone, it never broke on him, just like his trusty Adidas. He clicked on his inbox and checked it. 7 new text messages. Okay, he obviously didn't check his phone often enough. He slumped down a little bit on the bench as his fingers flew across the keyboard. Once he had replied to all the texts and deleted them, he slipped his phone back in his pocket and looked around for Destiny. He spotted her outside the theater... what was she doing?
Haha, she was checking her hair. Another advantage of being a guy with short hair was that no matter what it didn't get messed up. Scott watchede as she came over and smiledat what she said. "Thanks. You look somewhat good yourself," he replied, laughing. It was his way of saying that she looked great. Scott looked up at the time to see, five more minutes until the movie sstarted. He was happy she hadn't forgotten or blown him off. He stood up off the bench and grabbed the popcorn. Couldn't go without the popcorn. [/blockquote]

Destiny grinned when Scott replied with a simple thanks and that she looked just alright herself. Destiny loved the fact that Scott was not one of those corny guys that are always like you look beautiful or something like that. But it wasn't like they were actually officially going out yet, she definitely shouldn't expect him to comment greatly on how she looked at all. But, for some reason, by the look in his eyes maybe, she knew that she had chosen her outfit well for him, and she was glad for she had spent all the time and all on it. Now his laugh, that was priceless in itself. She had always thought her laugh to be rather annoying and obnoxious, but that was just her, and he hoped that Scott didn't think that way. Even if he did, he never seemed to show it, and she was thankful for that.
Destiny eyed the rather gigantic bag of popcorn in his hands. "Only went for a medium or did you get a large, eat half of it, and then ask for a different bag?" she questioned. Maybe she was being a little oversarcastic today, but that was Destiny just being herself. She knew Scott to be an absolute lover of popcorn, so she wouldn't be angered if she only got about two pieces out of that whole bag. But, she wouldn't let that happen of course. Destiny glanced up at the clock as well seeing what time it was. Eh, but she had sadly forgotten what exact time the movie started. Did they have five minutes or ten or maybe negative minutes? She had thought that she was early though, maybe not, but he didn't seem to be in a big rush to run into the theater so hopefully that meant that she wasn't late.
"So, are you ready for me to hide behind you the entire movie? Sorry if my nails scratch your arm..." Destiny was actually speaking the truth her, for she was rather scared for this movie and would probably be covering her eyes for half of it. You would think that with all the stuff that they have seen in their lives that she would be used to such scary things, but no despite it being PG-13 and completely unreal, she knew she would be scared for her life and probably scream...just a few times.

Scott walked towards the movie room and made sure Destiny was following. He was pretty excited to see this movie. Scott smiled and looked around at the movie theatre. There were tons of people here, they had just beat the rush. He took out his cellphone and turned it onto vibrate. Slipping it back in his pocket, he noticed all of the gushy mushy couples. Bleh, rub it in on the single people. It had been so long since he had had a girlfriend..... well only a few months but it felt like forever ago. He missed the feeling of having a girlfriend. Agh he was eighteen and already having relatinoship difficulties... not really a great sign. He crossed his arms and walked down the dimly lighted hallway and into the room. "Ha. Cute," he said, using sarcasm right back at her. He smirked a little.
He sat down in the back row next to destiny and slouched a little in his seat as he looked up at the previews. He hated previews, they were all gay, long and stupid. He smiled at what she said. "Yea, I'm sure it's not that scary," he said, straightening up a little bit. As the movie started, Scott was at first interested, but then he began to sort of space out. He stayed spacey until something jumped up and he sort of got pulled out of his nonexistant thoughts. Haha what a lame monster. Scott hid his smile though. He didn't want to seem like a prat. He ate a little bit of popcorn, just a little bit, seeing as he usually hogged the whole thing. The movie slowly recaptured his attention but was a little bit hard to follow.

Destiny had followed Scott towards where their theater was. As they waited in the short line to have their ticket double checked by an employee, Destiny's eyes connected with the young worker and she couldn't help but to smile back at him, but when they both reached the man it seemed like he had realized that Scott and Destiny were here together which meant no chance for him. Destiny bit her lip awkwardly, sometimes she never tried to be flirty but her friendliness often just came out that way. She was here with Scott- she knew that. And she was happy about it. It was, what she guessed to be, their first official date, and it seemed to be going well so far...at least she thought so.
As they entered the theater, Destiny watched Scott pull out his cell phone and switch it off to vibrate. He hoped that hers was also turned on vibrate or off, but she didn't bother to check her bag. No one would call her- she knew that. And if she didn't it wasn't that hard to make her phone appear like it had never gone off with her power.
Destiny had also been one to notice all the couples in the theater. Some were doing the usual making out and others were basically just all over each other were their hands. Now Destiny's past relationship history wasn't really that impressive. She had gone out with, hm, maybe about three guys in her whole life, but two out of the three did not seem to have even count since they were only the common two-weekers, and she had been the one to break it up. Now, the third one- that was a different story. She had been completely in love with the kid, and they had been going out for about a year when he had decided to end things to go out with some random slut girl at her school. She hated that it seemed like all he wanted was a physical relationship after a while, and that's not whatr she wanted to give him at the young age of fifteen.
Destiny grinned when Scott replied back with the cute comment. She sat up in the rather uncomfortable movie chair. She gave a glance over at Scott who seemed to be slouching in his seat. As the preview came on, Destiny only somewhat watched them. None of them seemed rather interesting to her, and she hoped that there would be better movies than these ones coming out in the new year. Destiny grabbed about three pieces of popcorn when the movie finally started. She had een one to jump a little when one of the crazy infected monster thingies popped up out of no where. Aww...a dog- now that was cute.
"I still don't get it..." Destiny admitted in a soft whisper to Scott. "Why is he alone again?"

Scott saw Destiny's little moment ith the ticketboy and Scitt turned his head away. Damn personal gain rule. He kinda wanted to freeze the guy solid and then slowly defrost him. But he wasn't that mean, and he was severely afraid of the consequences. Besides, he was almost one hundred percent positivee Destiny didn't like him as more than a friend, wwhen she had said shed come she didn't seem too happy about it. So cool if she and the movie theatre ticket boy were going to go ditch him. Oh wow, he blew everything out of proportion, but still... wwhatever, he could stay single the rest of his life. Part of that seemed appealing. Eighteen years old and already giving up relationships, now that was sad. But then again, he had a shortened expiration date anyways.
He'd probably die young with none of his life goals fulfilled. Haha he was a little bit cynical sometimes. He quickly hid his jealousy like he was an Oscar Award winning actor and silenced his thoughts. His brain always seemed to be thinking about something, that was part of th reason he had insomnia or soething, he could never fall asleep sometimes. His head was always buzzing with random thoughts and emotions. But for now, his brain was acting as if he had shot a tranquilizer dart into it, all of his thoughts flew out of his head so he could focus on this overly confusing movie.
"I have no idea. I'm not really following very well," he whispered back, his eyes widening a little as something jumped out. Was that a lion? Scott raised an eyebrow. This was way random, maybe if he had been paying more attention he would've figured out what was going on. His thoughts drifted away to his past, very, very complicated and negative relationship history. He had gone out with about eight people in his lifetime. Four of these eight girls chated on him, oh that was big fun. Three of them he was still friends with and they had decided to be just friends. And the other one had moved away. And through all this he was still a virgin. Eighteen years old. Haha, well it was better than being a complete manwhore and he wasn't that desperate for some action, but not prude enough to wait until he was married. Oh well, who cared, he could change that in the future if he got into a good relationship for once.
[[ooc: Haha it's going to be so much fun to see hijm crushed when Destiny turns evil. haha]] [/blockquote]

Destiny looked over at Scott, somewhat confused for she had figured him to be the one who would actually pay attention since it semed to be one of those guy-type movies where it's entertaining to watch and make fun of the scary and rather fake looking monsters. But, it seemed like Scott's thoughts were elsewhere, and it made her curious in wondering what those thoughts were exactly. Was he randomly just worrying about if there was a demon attack on the Manor or if a witch has just been captured? Or maybe was he thinking about her? Or was it someone else? No, Scott did not have anyone else...at least she thought so. Well, she would know and be able to tell immediately anyway, and if he did, they would not be at the movies together on this somewhat of a date.
"Well thanks," Destiny replied in a quiet sarcastic tone as she jokingly rolled her eyes and gave him a quick light slap with the back of her hand on his arm. It was a common action for Destiny to do when she was slightly angered by something, but it wasn't meant to be abusive or anything, it was just how Destiny was- physical in the sense that she expressed her emotions through gestures and motions. And she knew Scott could handle an informative slap once in awhile- he was a man of course.
Well, Destiny just decided to come out with it then and ask him being her usual question asking self. "So, what are you thinking about then?" she questioned him softly, taking her eyes away from the movie again and back over at him. The beginning didn't seem all that interesting anyway, and she hoped that it would be one of those movies that you wouldn't have to watch the beginning to understand the end.
(( Aw yeah, poor Scott. But who knows, maybe she could change back- it all depends. ;] ))

Scott gazed up at the switching scenes on the movie screen and only half listened to what was happening. He watched as something freaky popped out of nowhere, out of the screen. A few people screamed a little bit and went back in their chairs. Scott had to smile in amusement. He was not following this movie very well, but he had to give them props, the special effects were amazing. He leaned further back in his chair as his striking gray blue eyes stared up at the screen. It gave him the appearance that he was paying attention to the movie when he really wasn't. He heard a scuffling on the stairs where you came up to bthe top row and saw a man with a shaved head, wearing a black trench coat, gliding up the stairs. not walking, hovvering up them. Scott sat up in his chair, surprised that a demon would be in the movie theater. Then he became pissed and scared. No one else was in the back row but them so no one saw when the demon through a fireball at Scott. Scott quickly held out the palm of his hand.
Ice shot out of the palm of his hand and hit the fireball, quickly extinguishing it before it hit him. His heart raced before he dug in his pocket and pulled out a vial full of blood red potion. He threw it at the demon and in a second he went up in flames and was vanquished. A few people turned around, making angry shhhhing noises. "Sorry," he muttered, his heart still racing. "Great I hope all dates I ever go on aren't going to end up like that," he muttered. He hadn't realized he had used the word date. If Destiny pointed out that she thought WASN'T a date and just liked him as a friend, he would easily be abl to cover up his little slip up though...
"Hey! he whispered in a pretend to be offended voice. The slap hadn't hurt, he knew that was just what she did to show her emotions. "I'll pay more attention then," he lied as he looked back up at the screen. "Nothing really," he replied when she asked him what he was thinking about. Wow, that was a great conversation starting answer. Nothing really. He was verbal. Scott realized it was about half way through the movie and he couldn't help but feel a little bit glad. He was enjoying spending time with Destiny, and they could go grab something to eat after this, but this was definitely far from being one of his favorite moves. [/blockquote]

Destiny had thankfully not been fully paying attention during the scary part which numerous people in the theater screamed at. She had however jumped in her seat because of the screaming, and she looked around spotting the people who seemed to be shaking a little in there seats. Her shoulders tensed a little as her eyes focused back on the screen and yet another monster thing popped up out of nowhere, but this time mostly everyone in the theater had been prepared for this and there were only a few quiet screams.
Destiny had not noticed the man hovering up the stairs, until a light appeared out of the corner of her eye and she turned slightly, noticing it to be a fireball that was heading towards their direction. She almost screamed aloud but then she remembered that they were in public, and she could not bring attention to them and the demon. She simply gasped a little, but let it out when Scott acted quickly and extinguished the fireball with his powers. Sure, Destiny could have immediately used her power to slow down the time to have the demon destroyed without anyone else in the theater noticing, but she let Scott handle it, and just figured if anyone noticed she could always rewind the time to undo that.
Her innocently blue eyes caught attention to Scott's hand as he pulled out what seemed to be a potion from his pocket. Great, he carried potions with him. She tried to think that was a completely good thing because it meant he was prepared if something like this happened, and he could act quickly and painlessly with a potion. Destiny was glad that he had managed to vanquish the demon so quickly, and she simply glared back at the people in front of them when they turned around and made shhing sounds. It seemed that they hadn't actually noticed what had just happened. It was great how oblivious people were to things when they did not believe in them. So, she was glad that there was no need to use her powers.
Destiny looked back over at Scott after that big event. She was glad that he had immediately apologized even though it wasn't really necessary- those things just happen in their lives- she couldn't blame them for it. Date- had he really just used the word date? She tried not to show any excited and surprised emotion about it, but instead just nodded and lightly smiled. She just decided to go along with what he said, and pretend that she had originally thought it was a date. Destiny had really wanted it to be one, and now it sort of was officially, so she was really happy about that.
"Suuure..." Destiny replied when Scott explained that he would pay more attention. She kind of hoped he wouldn't pay complete attention to the film however, but it seemed like he didn't really enjoy it that much anyway. Nothing really he had replied. Destiny was sort of angered that he had gotten out of telling him the truth with that answer, but maybe it was better that he had said that.

Scott could tell that Destiny hadn't been paying much attention to the movie either. It definitely was not the greatest. He held back a smile when she didn't protest his little mentioning of this being a date. Did that mean she really might like him back? He didn't get too hopeful, although he hoped it did. That would be awesome but a little bit wierd. He'd known her all her life and he knew her better than most people, except for Alyssa. Alyssa more about Destiny than anyone and Destiny knew more about Alyssa than anyone. Sometimes the age difference between the to confused Scott. But they were both pretty much the same person, their personalities strikingly resembled each other.
They were both great singers and party animals. Scott saw Destiny's disbelief and anger at his reply of, Nothing Really. He felt a little bit guilty, but he seriously hadn't been thinking of anything. "I seriously wasn't thinking about anything," he laughed wuietly, making sure as to not disturb the people in front of them again. The people looked pretty damn ticked off the first time they had had to turn around and Scott didn't want to know what they would be like the second time around. Anybody could see that he was telling the truth when he told her he hadn't been thinking about anything. He knew Destiny asked a lot of questinos and he was perfectly okay with that, he liked it, it made her, her. But soetimes when you gave her the honest answer she didn't believe you.
Scott got through the rest of the movie and when the end credits began to roll down the screen he held back a sigh or a smile or a laugh, anything to hint he had not liked the movie at all. He stared up at the screen blankly. "I'm so confused," he said to Destiny before standing up and seeing they had only eaten half of the popcorn. That was weird, he usually ate the whole thing. He picked up the popcorn bag and walked down the steps with Destiny. "You want anymore?" he asked as they approached a trash can. If she didn't he'd drop it in. He was pretty sure she didn't want anymore, but he was just checking. [/blockquote]
