Personality: Maida is a very outgoing and sometimes outspoken girl. She isn't afraid to speak her mind, and will let you know her opinion, though she knows when to stop talking. She loves to have fun and though she comes across as confident and perky most of the time she can get really hard on herself. she is a perfectionist in a lot of things, but she isn't overly serious. She always wants to be the best at whatever she does. She will finish whatever she starts and has a real soft spot.
Maida isn't one to hold grudges and is a complete girly-girl. She comes off as materialistic, but she isn't and you really just have to get to know her. She is never hard to talk to, though some people take her as being stuck up because she likes nice things. She loves to laugh and does plenty of it. She isn't stupid in the least, though she can sometimes say unintelligent things.
Maida is very independent and fun. She loves to entartain people in whatever way she can and is always up for a good party. She is rebellious against her father and his attempt to control her and just wants her own life. She can sometimes be considered a widl child, but she emerging into her own person and is still classy and sophisticated. Mainly everyone loves her and loves to hang out with her and have a good time.

History:
The first thing there's to know about Maida is that her and her twin were not a planed pregnancy, Maida wasn't even known about. Her parents were young and didn't even want a kid at the time let alone two. When Leslie and Evan found out about the pregnancy they were a little bit confused and they had many arguments whether to keep the baby or not. They separated for a while becaused Leslie she wanted to keep the baby but Evan didn't want it and wanted to focus rahter on his carrer than a family. Before the baby was born Evan got back with Leslie deciding what was important in his life and that he wanted to be involved in the life of his yet-to-be-born baby...They did planning through the rest of what was left of the pregnany knowing it was a girl and picked out the name Mischa. To the couples surprise, they found out only a few months before Leslie was due that they were expecting twins. They were happy yet they were worried since they were young and didn't know much about kids and had to re-do all of their planning for the second baby and decided to name her Maida. However in October the girls were born on a rainy night. Leslie was rushed to the hospital, and had some complications almost causing them to lose one of the babies, but 5 hours later the twins were bothborn healthy.
Leslie and Evan were glad to have the two adorable twins, and in an instant the twins became the joy of the house. They spoiled them greatly along with everyone else.They were showered with gifts and were pampered since as long as they can remember.
From the day they could talk, everyone waited at their hands and feet. Their father a successful businessman who owns his own advertising Agencies, one in England, and two in the U.S.
Their father tried to teach them that money is and never will be an object, but Maida never adapted well to that and enjoyed her pampered life. Since she was born Maida and her twin Mischa had pretty much everything. Maida got whatever she want when she wanted it, but her mother kept her well grounded.
Evan always had high expectations for his daughters. And expected them to handle the agency one day. Maida began to quietly rebel with her fathers expectations not wanting to run his agency and not wanting to follow along with him and her sister. Her father golfed and played tennis with their mom, and lavished gifts upon his girls. They spent numerous summers on their yacht in Hawaii. Traveling a lot for summer vacations was expected, and delivered. Maida perfered California over anything. She didn't like the summer vacations on the yacht and much rather would spend her time in the city. She loved living and growing up in the city more than anything. She went to a private prep school with her twin and developed a very strong relationship with her from the start though they acted opposite.
At the age of 7 Maida's mother thrrew her and her sister into modeling which Maida took up easily and began to love high end fashion. While her sister acted Maida continuied to love to model and picked up the piano as a hobby as well. Maida always had a stronger relationship with her mother than she did her father and learned about witchcraft at the early age of 11, but was sworn to secrecy. She was always fascinated about it, but never learned why she didn't inherit powers of her own. Becoming bored without powers she later dropped it forgetting about the subject. She continuied to rebel from her father wanting to control her own life which led to her two tattoos and her party girl attitude. She continuied to grow closer to her mother however who still keeps her grounded and in line.
When Maida finally discovered her powers she was frightened at first, but later remembered the conversations she had held with her mother as an 11 year old. She learned to use her powers quickly and loved being a witch. She like her sister has a hard time not using them for personal gain, but she loves the idea of the craft and holds some resentment to her sister for not feeling the same way and wanting to be normal. She loves learning new things with the craft and is always searching for and trying to make up new spells. Will it lead to her downfall or help her in the end?

She sat there and watched Shelley explain her logic, and watched her tear up. She didn't even notice when she instinctively placed her own hand on her stomache. Her own baby, her boy, was due in 2-3 months right around graduation. She had gotten pregnant at 18, but 15? She could say she wouldn't have had the abortion, and she knew her parents wouldn't be the ones pressuring her into anything like that, but what if what happened to Shelley was her and Nathan? What if she wasn't married to Nathan? Would she honestly keep it? She looked back at Shelley not really sure how to react, so she said what she could.
"I'm sorry...no one should have to go through that...but, coming from my stand point now. I know being pregnant and married at 18 isn't any easier so I do understand why Shelley. I know it doesn't and probably never will seem right, but your parents and you were doing what you thought was right at the time, and thats all you can do anymore is accept it. You're going to get the chance again to get get married and have that chance to have a kid with a man you actually love. Just be grateful you don't have to raise an infant through 4 years of college along side a basketball star."
She tried to say the last sentence more in a comic relief type way to lighten the mood though she knew what she was saying probably really didn't help at all.

She finally relaized where her other hand was placed and swiftly moved it back onto the counter before leaning forward on it again.
