Patience walked into P3, one of the few clubs she frequented that she didn’t actually sing at, with an annoyed look on her face. It had been a very long and stressful day. They had had three surprise tests in her classes. And she had only had three classes. Sometimes she swore her professors actually conferred with each other to see when each was planning on giving a test and made sure they scheduled it on the same day. It made for a rather stressful day. Especially when you are completely aware that you’re not prepared for any tests, and are quite certain you completely bombed at least the first one.
But that hadn’t been all. Oh no, her bad days generally had at least ten things go wrong for her. She had gone outside for a bit of fresh air, just to calm down from the stress of exams that she wasn’t prepared for, only to find that the sunny day quickly turned to rain driving to the ground in droves. She had been soaked in seconds, and her mood had gone from bad to disastrous. And it hadn’t been until she had gone inside and started to dry herself off that she realized that she might have been the one to accidentally start the downpour.
She had tried to stop it, but control over her powers wasn’t something she’d quite mastered yet, and, in the end, the only thing she had managed to do was make it snow. With a sigh she had given up on the weather and instead focused on giving herself a treat to make up for the horrible day she had just endured. And, finally, she was at the club. She gave a sigh as she sank into a chair at a table in the corner, and laid her purse on top of the table. She wished that someone had been able to come with her. She didn’t generally like to come to crowded clubs, especially not by herself, but something about this place had always drawn her to it. She glanced down at her short black dress that was cinched at the waist with a belt and had a halter top to make sure that it still looked good. When she was satisfied with her clothing, she relaxed and placed her head in a hand, glancing around, waiting for something to happen.

Maida ran into the club at the start of a downpour glad to be there and heading inside. She came to the club often finding herself here when she had nothing else to do on a boring night. She walked passed the line and pass the bouncer tipping him, I mean she was family right? She looked behind her to see if the downpour was letting up only to see that it had started snowing isntead. Snowing in San Fransico? Something had to be wrong...She walked down the stairs looking around the club seeing that Chris had taken good care of it since Piper had died. She went to the bar getting herself an apple martini and walked around finding herself a table and spotting a girl that didn't look all that familiar to her and didnt look to be having the best of days.
"Having a crappy day?"
Thinking back to Maida's earlier events that had happened with Matt and Mischa she could assume that she herself was happy a pretty crappy day as well, but then again she was deciding to look at the upside rather than figuring that two of her cousins were posessed by the source of all evil. She nodded at the chair across from the girl.
"May I? You look like you could use some company..."
She smiled sweetly tossing her long brown hair back behind her back and out of her face slightly tilting her head and looking the girl over curiously.

Patience’s head came up quickly as a voice sounded near her. She had been resting it in her arms, praying that it would stop snowing. But someone had interrupted her thoughts. Her eyes raked over the newcomer. She definitely didn’t look familiar. Then again, pretty much nobody in this club looked familiar to her. She was very rarely here as she was generally singing in one of the clubs that she worked in.
She gave a short nod and motioned to another chair set at the table to tell the girl to sit down. This was unusual for Patience. She wasn’t exactly a friendly person as her name implied. She always felt that she gave off an aura that seemed to tell people to stay away. Sometimes she loved it. It gave her the alone time that she so craved. But at other times she missed her family who had always been so active around her. Like tonight. Her family would know how to make it stop snowing.
“I have.” She replied simply to the girl’s question about looking like she had been having a difficult day. “I am Patience, it is a pleasure to meet you.” She looked down at her hands which were still devoid of any drink. She reached up and casually flicked her own long brown hair back over her shoulder. “You just came from outside, right?” She asked, trying desperately to sound casual. Like they were just talking about the weather. “Is it still snowing?”

She gratefully took the seat across from the girl whose name she still had yet to learn. She frowned when the girl admitted to having a crappy day but Maida could kind of tell that. Honestly, she had had one as well with almost getting killed by one of her cousins, but that was far from something she was going to tell this girl. She frowned again as the girl brought up the weather and seemed awfully concerned about it.
"Well yeah, but it seemed to be dying down. But hey it's better than that down pour right? I mean what is with this weather?"
She shook her head and laughed lightly. If it was weahter that the girl wanted to talk about than weather it was going to be. Though when Maida looked closer she saw that the girl really didn't seem too keen on talking about the weather after all. Over the years Maida had grown to be somewhat of an expert on reading people, and though this girl was tougher because she didn't know her, she was still able to do it fairly easily.
"If you don't mind me asking...why are you so concerned about the snow and weather?"
Maida tilted her head in curiousity her eyes still transfixed and studying the girl watching her facial expressions and body language closely.
((eww sorry not my best post))

Patience watched the girl sit down across from her. It definitely looked like she had had just as bad a day as Patience herself. In fact, if she were to put a name to how this girl looked, it would probably be how a witch looked after fighting a difficult demon. But Patience shook her head and cast that thought out. There was no way that could possibly be true. She was just seeing witches and demons everywhere because she didn’t want them anywhere near her. A little thing called paranoia. And it wasn’t helping her already frayed nerves.
The girl’s comments about the weather really didn’t help though. Patience let out a sigh when she said it was still snowing. That really couldn’t be good. And then she said that it was better than the downpour from earlier and Patience’s head dropped a little further. After all, she had managed to cause both the rain and the snow.
“Yeah. Definitely better than the downpour from earlier.” She said weakly, feverishly praying silently that she would, sometimes soon, gain some actual control over her powers so that days like these would stop happening.
She so wanted to go back to her family to get them to help her with these new found powers. But it was only a part of her that wanted to go back. Another part of her, a much more stubborn part, wanted to remain independent. She didn’t want to be seen as one of a group anymore. A twin. One of a set. When one was mentioned, the other quickly followed. But she just wanted to be herself.
She glanced at the girl, only to notice that she seemed to be watching her intently. Patience could feel her stomach suddenly start to churn from nerves. Was it possible this girl knew that she had made the weather change so drastically? No, it wasn’t possible that she knew. Not unless she could read minds. But not even that thought reassured her. Probably because she was quite aware that there were probably witches who could read people’s minds.
Her question really threw Patience. She was quite perceptive this girl. Patience forced a smile and small laugh. “I’m not really.” She said with a shrug, hoping the girl would by the casual façade she had assumed. “I suppose I always start with the small talk. Besides, the weather today was insane, don’t you think?”
((No worries. Mine wasn't either. But, just so you know, Patience did introduce herself. It was Maida who didn't ^.^))
