They say home is where the heart is, that when you step foot in your door, you feel safe. You feel loved. The outside world and the big bads in it can no longer get you, you are home. If only everyone thought that, maybe the world would be a better place. Maybe if the young teen that was walking, if she believed it, maybe, just maybe. She would have a better life. But things happen for a reason right? No one knows what they reason is, and sometimes they question it.
The girl was walking, dressed in a red dress and black boots, a knife hidden within one boot and she wore fingerless gloves to hide her scars. Her dark brown hair reached just past her shoulders, cascading down like a silky waterfall. Her eyes, colored brown(although people mistook them for being light gold), gazed around at the people walking past. It was around midday, and it was the weekend. Normally she would be hiding in her room, making no contact but she decided it was time to go out. So here she was, outside of P3.
She allowed her fingers to rung along the cold wall, before she let go and pushed open the doors. Maybe she could escape, be lost in the sea of people. Okay, so it wasn't that crowded but it would do. Not many people knew here since she didn't mingle often, so she felt relatively safe. Well, until a male walked past her, and she yelped slightly before quickly ducking and heading to a table. Taking a seat, she began to relax slightly, but it wasn't enough to keep her nerves under control. Forcing herself to calm down, Jess closed her eyes slightly, not wanting anything bad to happen. And for that, it was important for her to calm down.

Kylie stared at the roof of her room as she laid on her bed. She had one leg hanging off of her dodgerblue covers. Her room was a mess nothing new. She kept herself organized by being untidy. Whenever she cleaned her room she lost half of the shit she needed. So she just kept it a organized mess as she normally did. Eventually getting bored of laying on her bed and staring at the ceiling [gasp how could you get bored of that?!] she sat up.
Kylie looked around her room wondering what the hell she could do to pass the day. Besides sitting in her room thinking about someone that tended to cross her mind quite a bit lately. Shane. Gah that boy passed through her mind more than anything. And she was getting kind of afraid of that. For she felt she shouldnt let down too many guards. She didnt date a lot but most of her friends found their ways around dating jerks. And well she kind of didnt want to end up like them just because she believed in someone too much.
Ah why did life have to be so messed up and confusing sometimes? She wasnt sure what she wanted anymore. Well apparently she wanted someone but still. She wanted to tell him that she liked him yeah but she didnt know. And why the hell was she thinking about this so much? She wouldnt happen to know. Okay one thing was definently for sure. She needed to get her mind off of him by doing something else.
Kylie grabbed her iPod and left the house skipping down the stairs 3 at a time before slipping on her big sunglasses. She started to walk towards downtown San Fran. There was a bunch of stuff to do here right? Well all she had to do was think about the songs on her iPods too keep her busy. No big.. She made a mental note that she should get over her crush on Shane before she drove herself completely nuts. Was there even a spell for that? Hmmm she wondered.
Kylie came along P3 and snuck in with some taller people. It wasnt hard for her to sneak into places seeing as she was only 5'1. She didnt mind being so short for it had its ups and downs. She moved her sunglasses to atop her head as she looked around and spotted a partially empty table. Hm she didnt look very familiar... Maybe she could make a friend? She liked making friends mmmhmmm. "Mind if I sit?" She asked the other girl before she sat down. She didnt want to intrude in case she wanted to be alone or something. [/size][/blockquote]

Well, the club was more boring than she expected. Then again, she figured most people would be working. Still, there was an emptiness that crossed her for a simple moment. Jess hadn't seen her parents or her brother around, and that was both a good and a bad thing. She was still supposed to be punished for running away but she shrugged it off. If they caught her out, they caught her out. No big deal. And anyway, they couldn't take much off her. She didn't have a television in her room(she preferred reading over watching the 'tube), and she disliked having too much stuff.
Thirst was overpowering, and Jess wondered if she could grab a glass of water. As she contemplated getting up and going to ask, a shadow passed over her and a voice spoke up. Momentarily stunned and shocked, Jess stayed silent for a few moments before realizing the girl was talking to her. Giving her a quick glance over, Jes couldn't sense anything threatening from her, no hidden evil agendas. Sure she could be hiding it, and Jess wouldn't let her guard down too easily.
As the girls question registered in her mind, Jess nodded. "You can sit. Doesn't worry me." Her voice was soft, carefully hiding any emotions that would expose her, or expose Solaris. Sitting up more, Jess took a glance around, making sure no one was sneaking up on her(she was a little paranoid, and the idea of someone sneaking up just crept her out). Tapping her fingers on the table, she stopped after a few moments, wondering if that was annoying. Slipping back into silence, Jess looked back to the girl, and wondered if she should introduce herself. What was the harm in that right?
"I'm Jessica. People tend to call me Jess or Jessie." She added, her voice more stronger than before. Was she surprised that someone was talking to her? A little. Being alone for so long, she had forgotten what it was like for a stranger to talk to her. And if she was honest with herself, she thought it was nice. Jess would just have to make sure that if the conversation got into dangerous waters, than to steer away from it. Which she was quite capable of doing. I have had way too much practice. Jess thought sadly, shaking her head very slightly.

Kylie listened to the girl say she could go ahead and sit. She gave the girl a smile before sitting down. She turned off her iPod and shoved it in her jacket pocket so she wouldnt be rude. "Thanks." She spoke and got herself a water. She put a straw in it just because she had a slight obsession with straws. They were like the best thing sinse sliced bread to her.
Kylie looked at the girl and noticed her looking around a little bit. She pulled her eyebrows together as she watched the girl. Okay something was definently wigging her out. Hmmm... Maybe a evil magical being was chasing her... Well then she knew she could take care of that in a giffy... If she only knew where this being would be. She started to glance inconspicuously around the club and didnt notice anything out of the ordinary.
"Are you.. Alright?" She asked curiously. "I mean I dont want to say something to be like 'Raw im a nosey bitch' but you just seem kind of.... jumpy." She spoke and sipped some of her water. She wasnt looking on getting drunk today. For once. Not like she was an alcoholic or anything she just usually got wasted at the parties she went to at clubs. For she didnt do it way too much and some people needed to get loose sometimes.
Kylie listened to her introduce herself and she nodded putting down her water. "Its nice to meet you Jess. My name is Kylie Owens." She spoke and smiled some. "My nicknames are Kyles, Ky, and just Kylie. Call me whatever you want though." She spoke shrugging some. She really didnt care what people called her. Cause she either laughed along with the nutty nicknames she would get or just ignore it. What was really in a name anyway right? [/size][/blockquote]

Was she alright? If she really thought about it, everything in her life was messed up. The abuse, the self harm, the secrets. Okay, everyone had secrets but some where worse than others. She was alright, then again she wasn't. It was hard to explain, and even harder to speak about it. So, putting on a happy smile, she replied. "I'm alright." Jess nodded, trying to reassure herself most of all. She hated lying, but she didn't trust this new girl. Simply because she didn't know her. If they were best friends perhaps, then she would tell. But her lips were sealed.
"Jumpy? I get like that sometimes." Jess replied truthfully. She was jumpy, and no point lying about it when Kylie had clearly noticed it. She could just say something like she had a bad dream last night and was still shaking from it. As long as it worked, it would be okay. Not saying anything unless she asks, Jess decided.
"Kylie. It is nice to meet you too." Jess said with a genuine smile. She knew the name of the girl which was good, and the feeling that Kylie wasn't evil made Jess stay, simply because she wasn't being threatened. For a 15 year old, she had been through a lot, and so staying in one place did mean something. It was something good, on her way to trusting again. For what was life if you were unable ti trust?

Kylie looked at her curiously and drank some more of her water as she waited for an answer. She watched the girl randomly put on a smile and she listened to what she said. "Okay." She spoke nodding and shrugging. Did she buy it? Not much. She would just have to keep her eye open. This girl was way too jumpy to be anything evil herself. She just had to keep an open eye on their surroundings in case whatever she was running from came back.
Kylie listened to what she said and she nodded. "Yeah me too sometimes." Well sort of. She was a little jumpy in the middle of her 'job' for you must expect the worse from them. Otherwise she was pretty mellow. Well except when people decide its funny to sneak up and scare the short girl -__-;; "Sooo what brings you to the P3?" She asked trying to start up conversation. Seeing as this was already an akward conversation. She didnt like akward =/
Kylie listened to her say that it was nice to meet her too. She nodded and smiled back at the girl. She rested her elbow on the table and held her head in her hand as she looked around the club. So far nothing out of the ordinary. "You from around here? I mean I havent seen you around before and wether they want to or not a lot of people around here know me." She spoke and laughed a little bit.
[[Ah its bad im sorry T__T]] [/size][/blockquote]

"I was just bored." Which was pretty much the truth in why she came here. Boredom, plus she needed to get out more. Staying inside a room most of the time could not be healthy. Once again, she allowed her brown colored eyes to scan the room, possibly looking for threats, or what looked like threats. She didn't want to get caught, or have some male coming over. If she saw a male heading over to their table, Jess would make up an excuse and leave. Put it simply, she was terrified of new males, because Amy's father installed fear into her. It was his fault for her self harming, his fault for her fear. His fault for taking away her innocence and tainting her.
"I'm from around here. I just stay hidden a lot." She admitted. It wasn't like she went anywhere, her fear normally was enough to keep the young girl inside, locked in her room. It wasn't like she was missing out on much, just trying to keep what dignity she had left. Well if you could call it dignity. Shrugging her shoulders, Jess made it look like she didn't really care about hiding a lot. It bothered her more than she let on because she lost a few friends, not to mention missing out on a lot because of it.
