Sienna wandered down the packed street. Alone. Without her family. She needed some 'me' time. Well that's what she told her family anyway. Maybe it wasn't that. Maybe she didn't know what was wrong with her lately. She just didn't feel like she knew herself. "I suppose it's not really alone time if you can't breathe for the people." She thought smiling to herself. But these places helped her relax. The business of other people made her tired. She didn't know why. She couldn't see why anyone should put themselves through the pressure of being 'busy bodies'. It never really appealed to Sienna Moore.
As the fifteen year old Sienna Moore struggled to push herself along the crowded china town street her deep brown almost black hair flapped and flew behind her in the harsh, bitter wind. Autumn colors draped over her slender frame. A frame that was shivering uncontrolably. Some dark blue jeans that were far to big for her were being pulled up every twenty seconds or so. Her long brown coat sheltering her from the wind. Now rain. Now Downpour.
The water slashed down everywhere around her. More than so-called 'bucket loads'. People were making for the nearest place of cover. Ena was no different. She wanted something to eat anyway. And somewhere to dry off. And warm up. She headed over to the nearest chinese and found herself a table next to the window, on which condensation had taken place. The steam on the window made it hard to see outside. She waited for a menu. A menu that used blood red for a background and dazling gold lace for decoration. Sort of voilent really. But it had a peaceful, oriental feel all the same. So what she hoped would be a quiet, relaxing afternoon began.
A portly, chinese man shuffled over to the table where Sienna sat and handed her a menu. Many gold twirls and swivles were printed upon it. Whether in a decorative feel or it was actually chinese writing. She didn't know. She only knew some European languages. This didn't bother her though as the inside was all in plain English. Her ice blue eyes scanned through the menu quickly and finally rested on, "Duck and pancakes please sir." The man shuffled off towards the kitchen with Sienna menu and called out what she wanted to the chef.
